Added safety and security for your staff and premises come in the form of robust fire alarms and motion sensor lighting.

Depending on your requirements, you could choose a conventional, addressable, Redcare remote monitoring or a wireless fire alarm system.

Our highly trained team can design a bespoke fire alarm system to suit the needs of you and your property and provide regular servicing to make sure that your fire alarm system is supported in case of a mains power supply failure.

The annual service ensures that the fire alarm panel, batteries and all installed devices are cleaned, fully operational and in good working order and we’ll provide certification for your records.

We can also undertake weekly sound checks and quarterly inspections that check on the operational efficiency of the fire alarm panel, batteries and all installed devices in these areas. A certificate is issued on completion and this will register any faults which may have been recorded or dealt with.

Fire alarm installation – our process:

  • Survey – a full site survey will enable us to design a system that will meet your requirements and keep you fully protected.
  • Design and installation – once the design is agreed, we’ll install the system with minimum disruption to you – and test each part to make sure it’s in full working order.
  • Maintenance – we offer maintenance contracts to help keep your system in full working order. This is an extremely important part of the system as you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing your fire alarm will work when you need it to.

What kind of fire alarm is right for my building?

A conventional fire alarm system is the entry level for most fire system requirements. They are suitable for small offices, nurseries, small hotels, warehouses, shops and any small business.

A twin wire fire alarm system is similar to a conventional system as it has detection zones. The main advantage of a twin-wire system is that you can put sounders on the detection circuit and this means that you save on the cost of having to wire additional sounder circuits.

An addressable fire system transmits data over the detection circuit that provides intricate information for the user including the exact location of the fire. Addressable fire alarm systems are ideal for larger premises such as hotels, office blocks and large factories.

Emergency lighting installation and maintenance

British Standard 5266: Part 1 2005 regulations make it a legal requirement for all emergency lighting systems to be tested and maintained on a regular basis. This includes responsible persons nominated to keep adequate records of the installation details, test reports and maintenance records.

Our maintenance division offers comprehensive packages which can be tailored to suit your property including weekly visual inspections, monthly tests for a short period not exceeding one quarter of the system duration, quarterly tests for one third of the system duration and annual inspections for the full durations of the system.

All maintenance and repairs are carried out to BS 5266 for Non Maintained 3 and Maintained 3 systems, including full certification.

We can all supply and install all required emergency safety signage to British Standards.
